When choosing a graduate school, it is important to consider who will be your teachers, what qualifications they earned, ministry experience and authority they have. 

Other theological schools of various Christian traditions in Ukraine invite faculty of Talbot School of Theology – Kyiv Extension for speaking and teaching, recognizing their authority in their areas of expertise.

Vladimir Yakim, on site assistant director at Talbot School of Theology-Kyiv Extension shares about requirements for professors teaching at Biola University (Southern California, USA):

“A bar for teaching is set very high at Biola University, not any evangelical professor can meet those. We had very respected and serious candidates for teaching who were not approved for teaching at the university. The very fact of teaching at the Biola speaks volumes about faculty’s expertise and qualifications. When institutions of other traditions invite Biola’s faculty to teach, it speaks about international and inter-confessional recognition of that professor. Here at Kyiv Theological Seminary we are open for theological dialog with other Christian traditions and having our professor teaching in Catholic or Eastern Orthodox  university points to that.”   

In the beginning of March Dr. Ashish J. Naidu delivered a lecture “Biblical authority and ministry of the Word in the early Church: reading the Scriptures with John Chrysostom” for students of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary.

On March 15, Dr. Naidu delivered a lecture at the Institute of Religious Sciences St. Thomas Aquinas. 

Students of the Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies at Kyiv Theological Seminary spent whole week face to face with Dr. Naidu as part of the course “Reformation and Modern Theology”.

Ashish Jacob Naidu is the associate professor of theology at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. He earned his Ph.D. in patristics and systematic theology at the University of Aberdeen (2005). He has been teaching in Talbot School of Theology since 2006 and in Kyiv Extension since 2010.
